What are my childcare options if i start fulltime college?

By next september we will have a 2 and 1 year old, i am wanting to start full time college or atleast a part time job by then. My partner is currently looking for a full time job to do until i wud start work so then we wud qualify for working tax creds. What wud (if anything) we b entitled to if he did part time work and me full time college? I feel awful 4 saying it but we are better off on benefits but i dont want our kids growing up seeing that as normal! Any advise or similar situations?
